Our Ceramic Coating Process
Decontamination Wash
We begin with a thorough hand wash, followed by chemical and mechanical decontamination (iron remover and clay bar) to strip away all embedded road grime, old waxes, and fallout, leaving the clear coat completely bare.
Paint Correction
Using machine polishers, we carefully level the clear coat to remove swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation. This step is critical because any defects left behind will be permanently sealed under the coating.
Panel Prep & Application
We wipe down every panel with a specialized prep solvent to remove polishing oils. The ceramic coating is then meticulously hand-applied in small sections, ensuring even coverage and proper flashing before leveling.
Curing & Inspection
The vehicle must remain in our controlled environment to cure properly. We perform a final multi-point inspection under specialized lighting to guarantee a flawless, high-gloss finish before handing you the keys.
Care & Maintenance
While ceramic coating provides incredible protection, it is not a force field. Proper maintenance is required to ensure the coating lasts its full expected lifespan and continues to repel water and dirt effectively.
Post-Install Washing: Do not wash your vehicle for at least 7 days after installation to allow the coating to fully cure. After that, we strongly recommend the two-bucket hand wash method using a pH-neutral ceramic soap.
What to Avoid: Never take your coated vehicle through an automated car wash with spinning brushes. The harsh chemicals and abrasive bristles will rapidly degrade the coating and introduce swirl marks. Avoid washing in direct sunlight or when the paint is hot.
Realistic Limitations: Ceramic coating will not prevent rock chips or deep scratches—for that, you need Paint Protection Film (PPF). It also doesn't prevent water spots if hard water is left to dry on the surface in the hot Texas sun.
