The first days after coating should follow the installed product’s instructions. There is no universal cure time that fits every coating and environment. Before booking, explain your parking and travel needs so the shop can tell you what is practical during application, pickup and the initial care period.

A work commute, outdoor parking space or scheduled road trip can affect the appointment plan. Ask when the vehicle can be collected, what exposure should be avoided and when the first wash is permitted. Confirm these details with the shop instead of arranging transport around a generic online timeline.
Leave pickup with written instructions
Know which surfaces were treated and whether different care directions apply to paint, glass, wheels or film. Ask which wash products are suitable and what to do if unexpected rain or contamination occurs. Keep a contact route for questions; improvising with strong cleaners can create an avoidable problem.
Inspect without testing the finish
At handover, review the completed work and any defects that were intentionally left after correction. Do not scratch, rub or repeatedly wet the paint to test protection. If you notice an uneven appearance or other concern later, photograph it in consistent light and contact the installer before attempting a correction yourself.
